Thanks for the look up!

This is definately going to be a hard one to trace back.  To many variations of the name Vernum.

The burial could well be Fredericks Father.  I have his Father down as being born abt 1813.

Mike, I have been looking at the children of Frederick and Sophia and the first born was William in 1835.  I have no location for him but the next child John was born in 1838 in Stanground, Huntingdonshire.  Could it mean that they stayed around Sophia's place of birth which is Bury, Huntingdonshire?

Do you have access to 1841 Huntingdonshire?
