Hello Viv, Thank you for your reply.Yes I believe William Colebeck must have been born approx 1852/53. The only information with his name listed is on marriage certificate.He is not mentioned in 1891 census just wife Sarah and 3 children. 1901 Sarah is widowed.Hope you can find birth record for me I have searched St Cath`s Index didn`t find him. I have William Colebeck on the 1871 Census 3841 72b House 8 in 4 Court Dalton Street West Derby.
The head of the house is:-
Joseph Birch aged 47 Car Driver Born Barnsley Yorkshire.
Isabella Birch ( wife) aged 44 Born Whitehaven.
William Colebeck aged 15 Shop Boy Born Liverpool.
William was illegitimately born to Isabella.
William married 1876 He is not listed on 1881 Census but there is record of children X3 born in The Workhouse Brownlow Hill Liverpool up to 1882. His family are on 1891 Census he is not with them and his wife is listed as head but still married not widow. However she is listed as widow on 1901 Census. Have tried to find entry of death record but have not found anything.He just vanished.
