I am hoping that someone may have access to the Dawley parish registers (or nearby parishes) and can confirm whether a marriage took place between a John Bumford and Elizabeth Hart around 1834.

This is by no means certain but is based on the following:

John and Elizabeth Bumford on census entries with the birthplace Dawley, both born around 1815

Their first child is Philip Hart Bumford, born about 1834, in Shropshire (again based on census entries)

An Elizabeth Hart born in Dawley Magna in May 1816.
