Any info appreciated about the Samuel Adamson family:

Samuel Adamson, b. unknown
Esther Barton Adamson, b. unknown
Children:

Mary Ann Adamson, b. 1816, Cheadle
Martha Adamson, b. abt 1820 or 1822 Hulme, Cheadle
Thomas G. Adamson, b. 1823 Cheadle
Hannah Adamson, b. abt. 1824 Hulme, Cheadle

Thomas G. Adamson immigrated to the US and lived in Scioto County, Ohio until his death in 1876.

Don't know whether this may help but have you tried LDS family search:-

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp

Contains Parish records back to 1500's so you may strike lucky.
