William Stevenson and Elizabeth Reid

Elizabeth Reid (James Reid - Margaret Campbell) married William Stevenson 19/11/1843 at Kinross, Kinross. Their daughter Elizabeth Stevenson was born in Orwell, Kinross abt 1847. THey had 4 further children Alexander 10/7/1857 born Orwell, Thomas 12/4/1859 born Alva, Stirling, Andrew 30/9/1862 born Alva, and Catherine born Tillicoultry 21/8/1866.  I would like further information about William Stevenson and his ancestors/siblings. Elizabeth is listed in the 1881 census as a widow so William had died before then. Any help would be appreciated.

You would be best to go to scotlands people and check if he was still alive in 1871., then you could check for his death records which will then give you his parents names.
