george james wright

Im reasearching the name WRIGHT in grimsby.My g/g/grandfather george james wright was born in hull but came to grimsby as port missioner in the late 1800,s.Any information on him would be much appreciated

Hi Lyn,

Don't know if you've already seen this but on the National Register of Archives site they list the following document as being held at North East Lincolnshire Archives (Grimsby):

NRA 23533
Grimsby Port Missioner, Humberside

http://www.nra.nationalarchives.gov.uk/nra/searches/regdocs.asp?LR=48

What is in this document is anyones guess as there is no date given.
