There are 230 people with the surname Proffitt in Staffordshire on the 1901 Census
6 of them are Arthur
8 are Charles or Charlie
but none of them are named Rosie

Can you give me some more information like Family groups, ages, possible dates of Birth, etc.

Thank you so much Chris - this will be very helpful to me - I recognise several names here. We are away Wed till Sun, but I intend when we return to visit the records office and will let you know the outcome. Does the name St. Jude's Church, Bloxwich mean anything to you or St John's - I believe the Revitts were Methodists which I did not know.
