Ships going between England and NZ before 1900

Alfred (George )Allsopp born 1878 Staffordshire England went to NZ between 1899 and 1900 would anybody know names of ships travelling at that time please?

Hi can someone please tell me if there was direct route from England to NZ in 1900.
Name of ports was it liverpool. Cheesy

Hi mallow,

It's likely that ships still made direct voyages to New Zealand then, but most likely they called at other ports on the way to collect or disembark other passengers.

There are lists of ships arriving at the various NZ ports for 1899-1900, I think, but there would most likely be a couple of hundred vessels for each port.
