OK, I've managed to get a couple of pages onto my website, hopefully they show up OK.

My next query is how do I create buttons to link to any other pages I create.

When I look at some of the websites others have created, they have tables of links down one side, links to their different surnames, etc

Is there any programmes that allow you to create more detailed pages, etc?

Hi Dinie,

lots of people simply use their Family History program to create websites.

I have three examples on my site: http://boco.rootschat.net/#commercial
i.e.
from Legacy: http://boco.rootschat.net/COMM/Legacy1/index.htm
from Genopro: http://boco.rootschat.net/COMM/GenoPro1/index.html
and phpGedView (which Trystan will add to your site, if you ask him nicely):
~~http://boco.rootschat.net/COMM/phpGedView/index.php~~

you can add these to your site, as extras, as I have done, by saving them to a seperate directory and then putting a link on your main site..

I can't help much, as I wrote my site in HTML but there are many programs which you can use to write web-pages.

As Berlin B has said there are a great many programs available to help create web sites or individual pages.

The menus you often see are slightly different and one freeware program is CoffeeCup Free DHTML Menu Builder

enter that line of text into google and you'll get several sites to download this program.

There are numerous other programs which work equally well.
