Trying to find any info on;
David Mcburnie Laurie
b 9 Oct 1832 Parish of Troqueer
Father; John Laurie b 28 July 1811
Mother; Mary Johnstone b 16 April 1811
John and Mary married 4 Nov 1831 Parish of Troqueer
David was the oldest of 4 Children and the only one born in Scotland.
Mary Scott Laurie named after her grandmother Jean Laurie nee Scott

Am unable to find David with his family in 1861. Did he return to Scotland and who did he get his middle name from.
