Welsh family in Scone c1900
« on: Monday 04 July 05 03:35 UTC (UK) »

I am trying to locate the street address of a tailoring business named "Small & Welsh" in Scone, Perthshire circa 1900. Also looking for location of Garden Rd Scone for similar period - cannot locate on current maps.   A bit difficult from here in N.Z.

Go to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk , register if you haven't already, buy some credits, read the instructions, and search in the 1901 census; - limit the search to Perthshire, and further limit the search to the parish of Scone, and you will find one family, - that of James WELSH, Tailor, Employer ......................
