my uncle jim was a miner,i'm sure he was from this area,all i know of him is he married isabelle brown,1920's?she was from houghton-le-spring,please...........thos

Do you know anything else about your uncle?  There are many Fitzpatricks on my husbands side of the family.  They were from South Shields, but some of them scattered out a bit.
