Witlow/Tomlinson - 1841 census

Hi,

Looking for either Samuel Witlow(Whitlow 40-65 years old, Labourer) or James Tomlinson (38 - 65 years old, salt boiler, possibly living with a William Tomlinson).

I Know it isn't much to go on, but would appreciate any help.

            Sorry not enough info to search on, who are they ? where were and they born, Married, or died ? and where and when were they last sighted, did they have any children ? if yes where and when ?

I am afraid the only  information I have comes from the marriage certificate of Joseph Witlow (1819) and Eliza Tomlinson (1821) who were married in 1838. Samuel and James are the fathers names given on the certificate. There is also a William Tomlinson who signed the certificate.

If this isn't enough information don't worrry about it.

Hi John

             Nothing on the Tomlinsons except that there was death for a James in 1840 in the Northwich registration district (no age given) which is the right district for the Budworth parish where it seems Joseph and Eliza wed.
           This is what I have found

1851 HO107-2166-F235  Moulton Village Cheshire

Samuel Whitlow head 68 coal carrier born Moulton
Mary                   wife 62                             Weaverham

1841 HO107-121-09-Page3  Moulton

Samuel Whitlow 50 ag lab    all born in county
Mary                   45
John                   20
Henry                 15

1841 HO107-121-09-Page12  Moulton

Joseph Whitlow 20 plate layer railways
Eliza                  20
Hannah             7 months

Also on page 4 Moulton Village

William Tomlinson 20
Martha                  20
Martha                  1

1841 on page 13 is a Eleonor Whitlow 85 who may or may not be related.
