My (GT. X4) Grandfather  THOMAS BARTHOLOMEW married Elizabeth Gowshall at Sotby, Lincolnshire in 1797 and died at Theddlethorpe, Lincs. in 1839.

Their children included Enoch, Enos, Hannah, Jane, Jared or Irad,  John, Mahalah, Mary, Susannah And Thomas (born 1797).

Does anyone know anything about the birth of the elder THOMAS BARTHOLOMEW or who his parents were ?

Thanks for your reply.   I shall try to explore these,and let you know if I come up with anything positive.  The 1770 baptism at Bardney appears the most likely.
