This site is brilliant for anyone with research in either of the two villages.

Sorry if I am a bit dense, but I don't understand what a 'sticky topic' means. Can someone explain?

Hi Minor,

When a Topic is made sticky by a Moderator it makes the topic stand out. The Topic will then remain at the top of Page 1. It will not slip through the pages due to age. New messages will only appear below the Stickied Topics.

I found on this board, a lot of Links had slipped deep into the pages where they were not as likely to be noticed. You will see I have used the Uniform Exclamation mark and Stickied all the Links I found  on this board. This means all the Links now appear together at the top of page 1 and will not slip from here. They are the first thing anybody will see when they visit the board.

Topics may be stickied by Moderators for other reasons but in all cases it is because the Moderator, for whatever reason wishes the topic to stand out.

                Best Wishes.......Kris  Cheesy
