Was it possible to get passage on troop ships going from England to NZ i n 1921 Smiley

Hi mallow,

I believe that troopships were contracted by the military so it's unlikely that civilians would be found as passengers, but if you have the name of a ship I'll check it for you.

Troopships were usually crammed with any many soldiers as they could pack in, conditions most cilivians wouldn't tolerate.

Sorry Riley  I have no Name of Ship this person followed her husband out to N Z her husband was a Soldier so maybe that is how she got passage on troop ship. Undecided
