I am trying to find a family tree for Patrick Fitzpatrick from Leestone Road Kilkeel who had connections with Mountpanther in Clough.  Particularly the children.  He was born I think 1874 ish  1 daughter and few sons (6 I think).

Welcome to Rootschat. Unless another realtive turns up you won't 'find' a family tree here but we can probably help you with information or suggest where you can search if you give us some more details.

Many thanks.  I am looking to find out what happened to Mountpanther and the Fitzpatricks that lived in it from 1931. How can I find out the census records after 1911 for that address as I want to trace what happened to the children to see if they are related to my Grandmother Elizabeth Ellen Fitzpatrick born 1886 in Leestone Kilkeel.  Just dont know where to start?

1911 is the latest available census. Have you tried the PRONI website yet? they have 1912 Ulster Covenant and Will Extracts, also their e-catalogue might give you some clues (www.proni.gov.uk).
Rootschat isn't really a forum for posting details of living people- see posting guidelines/living people in Help Pages- www.rootschat.com/help/posting_guide.php
Belfast Gazette can also find more recent details- see www.belfast-gazette.co.uk
Using a search engine like Google might get more information and it is always worth trying various combinations of words.

Dennis,
Using the International Genealogical Index found in the "Search Records" section of
www.familysearch.org and doing a parent search (entering the names of the parents and the location only) you can come up with a family from Kilkeel using the names Patrick Fitzpatrick and Kate Murphy. I found these names on a subscription website as parents for Patrick born 1873 in Kilkeel. Unfortunately Elizabeth Ellen is not listed.

Regards

I believe there is a member of the  Co. Down Genealogy Group at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CountyDownGenealogy/
who has links with this family.

There is a poem about Paddy Fitzpatrick's lorry drivers and the men that worked at the yard during the 1930's at
http://www.igp-web.com/down/Poetry.htm

If the man you are after is the son of Paddy Fitzpatrick and Catherine Murphy then I too have info on your family.

Let me know.

Fiona.

I was born/reared at Mountpanther - Patrick Fitzpatrick was my grandfather.  What is your connection here? I'm sure I could get you the info you need.
