Hi Nikki
There is a series of railway orientated books by the Middleton Press. Under the heading London Suburban Railways, there is a book titled London Bridge to Addiscombe. Although clearly geared towards the interests of railway enthusiasts, there are usually good photos and maps through the ages of all the stations on the line, including Addiscombe obviously.
Also "The Book of Addiscombe", published by Halsgrove in 2000 for the local Residents Association (it is a proper hardback book) has a lot on Addiscombe Station, including a photograph showing staff on the platform in 1899. Looks like one could be the stationmaster - he is wearing a smart enough uniform. Both books should be available through any good book seller.
Best wishes
Peter

Hi Nikki
No, I'm afraid the H stands for Heather, not Harris, so I don't know Eddie!. If you have a problem getting hold of the books let me know and I will try to get them here in Croydon and send them to you. However, I do know the ISBN number for the Book of Addiscombe, as I have a library copy in front of me. It is ISBN 1 84114 094 5. The publisher (Halsgrove) also have an e-mail address at sales@halsgrove.com
Good luck, Peter (Heather)
