No joy I'm afraid! 

If I logout and then log back in again, if I click on the SIT link another explorer window opens up with the SIT login button with me logged in as guest.

I'm wondering if it's a cookie-related problem. 
Trystan changed the RootsChat cookie recently, and various problems suddenly cropped up.
