English-German Marriage
« on: Friday 23 July 04 22:24 BST (UK) »

I have just found a skeleton in my family   Shocked

I have been told that one of my Great Great Aunts married a German gentleman during the first World War.

I believe it was quite serious at the time and that they were held at some camp, most likely in Lancashire as the family where living in Manchester at the time Huh  Huh  Huh but this is where the story stops.

I have tried searching for information but have not got very far. Has anyone come across this before ?

Regards

Sarah
