Hi I have just found two ancestors in Boyds Marriage Index, and now need to know the next step to get a transcript or copy of the records. 
The index gives me this...
1787 STRUDWICKE WM, GULLIVERS SUS, WESTMINSTER (ST GEORGE HANOVER SQUARE), MIDDLESEX, and
1815 STRUDWICKE WM, LEGG MARTHA, WESTMINSTER (ST GEORGE HANOVER SQUARE), MIDDLESEX.
Where would these actual marriage records be found, and how do I get transcripts.
I AM IN AUSTRALIA.....cheers

Hi there
Percival Boyd took all his records from the Parish Registers of 16 different counties from the beginning of registration in 1538 up to the year 1837.
Entries are copied from Printed Rgisters (not the actual) and coverage is not complete.
Looking at the actual / copy of the Parish Register is unlikely to give you any more information than you already have because no additional information was recorded until 1837.
The index is at the Society of Genealogists in London

Thanks for that, its rather dissapointing as the English Origin Site(BOYDS REGISTER SITE)where I obtained the index gave the impression that further material was likely:
"The original registers provide much more information than the index. eg. An index record:
1795 MUSSON, JN, KATH ABELL, DENBY.
has the parish register entry:
25 August 1795 John Musson, of Eastwood, co Nottingham, aged 20 years, with consent of his mother, Mary Musson, widow, and Catherine Abell, aged 16, with consent of parents, by licence.
The full entry gives connection to another county, ages of bride and groom, name and widowhood of groom's mother, and the fact that both bride's parents were alive."
If no further info is available from the actual record, then what use can I make of the records I now have from the Boyds register? I had hoped for some details of the brides parents...

Hi,
I cannot help you with the marriage details you require but I have found 8 STRUDWICK baptisms in Westminster, 13 total in London from the VRI.(1727 - 1817). Do you already have them? Let me know if you would like details. Kind Regards, Frances

The details of the records you have would be wonderfull. Most of my research so far centred around guildford, and so have little from Middlesex.I only discovered the Westminster connection through Boyds marriage Index, sp may be more family connections there.

Thank you so much, I had found the William Henry LeggeStrudwicke record from Dr Williams Library, but without the parent details. He is an ancestor. I am descended from is brother John Legge Strudwicke and so am overjoyed that you have provided the christening records. I have details of every one of John. L's Strudwicke descendants. The information from these records is exactly what I needed, as I had been trying to identify Martha Anne Legges parents details.
