Nigel While i was waiting to use the film reader i had a look in the G.R.O Reference book.This book contains all those married in wallasey and are taken from The registers.Its says from 1837 to 1901 but their are very few 1901. It a great book because all the names are in alphabetical order.Don't know if these finding are of any relevance or you have them or not but i took them anyway. Biddle John Staker 1890 Moreton Christchurch Lucy 1899 " " Frank 1899 " " There is only 1 McDermott Edith Mary 1853 St Hilary. Obviously i couldn't trawl through the thick book of corresponding numbers.To find the other halves so i cheated  and found them on the Cheshire B.M.D. Might as well finish the job 1890 John Staker Biddle married Jane Saunders Moreton Chrischurch. 1899 Lucy Biddle married Michael Joseph Connell. Moreton Christchurch 1899 Frank Biddle Married Margaret Eleanor Briscoe (cant remember the spelling)Moreton Chrischurch. P.S Edith Mary seems not to have been transcibed yet so cant find her other half  http://www.cheshirebmd.org.uk/
Going back a bit I appreciate but surely some relation to Frank Biddle the farmer who writes the history of Moreton books? A good age but still alive and living in the farm at the end of Leasowe road as far as I am aware?

Hi
I am looking for a marriage between John Owens, b.1809 to Jane ? .b 1806, they lived in Poulton cum Seacombe in the 1841 census, but moved to Liverpool shortly after.
Did they meet and marry at St Hilary's, say 1838on ? bit of a long shot,
hope you don't mind..
Can you help.

Hi, hope you can help - looking for several marriage dates. George Wakefield born 1749, died 1829,and Ann[aka Nancy] surname unknown born1742, died1844. They lived Kingsley/Newton area. Also William Banner and Eleanor Yewd or Youd, no specific dates, but around same time, possiblya little later, than Wakefield couple. One more - George Joinson[Joynson] born 1783 in Horton cum Peele?, died 1873 in Lower Whitley, and Nancy[aka Ann] surname unknown, born1785, died 1847, married before 1808 maybe. Thanks, Rosanna J
