If anyone has the 1841 census index could they please look up
      John SCROGGIE possibly living in Calton, aged about 17
      Janet CLARK possibly living in Calton, aged about 14

Similarly, 1851 census
     John & Janet SCROGGIE possibly living in Bridgeton

Hi, 1841 names index (Has no birth places listed)(This index excludes Barony)

There was no John Scroggie in 1841 index
The only Janet Clark was aged 15, living in Hutchestown, there was no other Clark names above or below hers, so she may have been in service.

1851 Names index, again has no birth places
Census taken Calton 592 emun dist 4 page 8

John Scroggie age 27
Janet age 24
