St Audrey's Hospital, Woodbridge
« on: Saturday 30 July 05 22:32 UTC (UK) »

Does anyone have any info. about ST Audrey's, Woodbridge which was a large Mental hospital ? My grandmother and at least one of her sisters were nurses there in the early 1920s. I've found info about the new flats it is being turned into but nothing so far that would tell me what it was like to work there.

Hi Emma
I had a cousin who was a patient there in the 60's.
I made contact with another person on roots chat called arquebus who lives near there and knows some of the people who used to work there, she/ he might be able to help you.
The other thing to try is to contact the local paper which is the East Anglican Times, they have a website, but i have never used it.
Hope this helps.
