Elliott's - late 1800's early 1900's
« on: Friday 22 July 05 20:07 UTC (UK) »

Hi, I'm looking for info on a Maurice Dale ELLIOTT born about 1878 in West Cornforth. He married Margaret Annie BROWN in 1903, Houghton - le - Spring.
He died before 1937 and was a miner.
What I'm looking for is his date of death and also how many children he had. Well any info really.
I only know of one who was Mary Jane ELLIOTT born 1908, in New Silksworth.
I would also like to know about his wife.
Many Thanks in advance.
Dave

THere is a death for Maurice Dale Elliott on the Durham Mining Museum site - he died at Esh 11 Nov 1918, (accident: 31 Oct 1918), aged 66.  Although your Maurice Dale would have been 40, given the coincidence in the names I thought it was worth bringing to your attention
hope it is of use
