Requiring information of an ANGUS family:

Robert Angus, his wife Agnes & their children Mary, Alexander, Agnes, Robert, Andrew, William, Janet & John. All children born in Glasgow between 1818 & 1835.
Robert & Agnes (nee Cuthbertson) were married in 1815 in Glasgow.
Robert was a Flour Merchant in Glasgow.

1841/1851 names index has no birthplaces.
Also the 1841 census for Scotland rounds down all ages to either ?5 or ?0 except for children up to the age of 15. The actual 1841 census will only tell you if they were born in census county or not.

Robert Angus age 40
Mary age 15
Andrew age 15
William age 10
Janet age 10
Janet Cuthbertson age 35 (poss. Agnes's sister)
Directly above Robert's name there are..
Alexander Cuthbertson age 85
Janet Cuthbertson age 75
These are quite poss. Agnes's parents, as there is a birth in IGI for an Agnes to Alexander Cuthbertson and Janet Fleming about 1790 in Glasgow

Robert Angus age 54
Janet age 18
Janet Cuthbertson age 40


There's nothing for Robert in 1861 index

Are there 1850's Glasgow directories that can provide street addresses, given a name?
