Hi,i wonderd if anyone has the names William Morrison born about 1805 Isle of Lewis,he married Mary Pharson,they had a son John born on Isle of Lewis 1829,he married Mary Connally or Conlin at Prestonkirk Berwick 1st August 1852.Its William and his wife Mary i am interested in.If anyone can help with these names i would very much appreciate it.William is down on his son Johns death certificate as being an Estate Manager,were their any Estates on Lewis and if so where.Thankyou so much for any help.Anne.

Hi, My husbands family of Morrison's came from Isle of Lewis

Hi Sue,sadly there are loads of different Morrisons from Lewis and they are not all necessarily connected,we may be from the same family but we may not either.My Morrisons started on Lewis but ended up on the Berwick Borders region,how about yours.Anne.

Hi Anne,
I know there are loads of them I havnt done any of my husbands side yet as they are all Morrisons Mcdonalds mostly called Donald, and it is very confusing, they are nearly all from Port of Ness or South Dell area.
