JAMES COCKBURN born c 1824 in Ayton
married  Nov 23 1844 Earlston
JANE BRUNTON born c 1824 in Mertoun
8th child born ..Robert Cockburn ..Nov 5 1855 in Smailholm
There are 2 boys living and 3 boys and 2 girls died.
