Not sure if this is the right board, but here goes !
I have an old document relating to a property in Rusholme Manchester, which was built by EDWARD HAYNES. In this document are various references to the Haynes family - Francis Haynes, Victor Bown Haynes & Annie Grimshaw (who I think is a married daughter).
If anyone is interested, I can send more details
Cheers, Chris

Thanks for your message regarding the HAYNES family...
However, my Edward HAYNES arrived into Sydney, New South Wales, Australia as a convict on 15 July 1822 onboard the 'Guildford'. He was tried at the Lancaster Quarter Sessions, sitting at Salford on 22 October 1821 and was found guilty of stealing property belonging to Samuel MORTON.
He was sentenced to 7 years transportation.
His occupation was given as Wire Drawer.
I don't think this can be the same person.
Edward's parents were John HAYNES & Mary HAYNES (m.s. LATHAM).
Hi Sarah, Thanks for letting me know - it's always worth a try & I'd love to be able to pass on this info to someone who is related !! Cheers, Chis
