1841 / 1851/ or 1861 census look up

Hi,

I'm looking for a Richard Smith born abt 1834 in Eckington Derby. I would be interested in any information regarding his parents.

His eldest child was born about 1865 (according to the 1881 census) so he could still have been at home in 1861

Hi,

Thanks  received the 1861 and 71 census entries you sent through. Unfortunately I don't think this is the Richard Smith I'm looking for.

My apologies - I should have explained a bit more for you. Embarrassed

In 1881 my Richard Smith was a coal miner living in Eckington, aged 47, born Eckington, and  had a wife Ann (born abt 1840) and eldest child was Henry (born abt 1865), so I presume he married Ann before 1865.

hi i am looking for john battersby born abt 1824 born  at belph derby he married jane do you have him on the 1861 and 1851 censuses.

Do not have access to 1851 - but have found a john battersby for 1861 - and, based on the scant info you gave me, I believe him to be the correct one.
