Hello Peter,

And so we meet again.

I also have Sarah Stelfox Catherine KNOWLES in my tree.  You are right, she was the daughter of Peter KNOWLES born 1794, Appleton and Eliza STELFOX born 1797 - they married at Great Budworth 22 May 1821.

Eliza STELFOX was the daughter of Edward STELFOX (born 1768, Crowley) and Sarah BARLOW (born 1773, Acton Grange) who married 27 Jun 1795 at Manchester Cathedral.  BARLOW connects the trees of Lesley Marten (who posted earlier on this thread) and me.

My G-grandfather was Thomas Stelfox b1828 (son of George) and Willow's website shows this tree. His son Walter E married Lilian Worsley and - this is not on the tree -then had two children, Reginald Worsley Stelfox b 1904 and Joan Worsley Stelfox b 1909 in Birkenhead. She was my mother and married Frederic Ronald Edwards of Chester c 1937. They had seven children borne in Birkenhead all surviving - including me Nicholas Stelfox Edwards b 1944 living in Bedfordshire.

Reginald married Linda Lowndes ? and have 2 children John and Rosemary

Great to see the history back inton C17

I was brought up in Northwich but now live in Spain
