Does anyone have acsess to 1841 census for Peebleshire trying so hard to find Elizabeh Johnstone/Johnston born 1835 {source her death cert}she married Richard Burns 1852 Cardronna Traquair Elizabeth named her first daughter Agnes her first son was James second Richard 3rd Robert this has been very frustrating Elizabeth died tragically 1871 in NZ her death cert revealed nothing  i would be very grateful to anyone who may be able to help Thanks Harriet Embarrassed

I don't have the 1841 Cencus but I looked through the BVRs and found the births of her daughter Agnes and son James. (Richard and Robert being born after the date of Statutory Registration so not listed).

I looked for Elizabeth's birth in the same area and found this one (which I searched for based on her surname having an 'e' at the end and her date of birth +/- 3 years)

Thanks for your help Anne i have come across Robert Johnstone & Elizabeth Hunter but i believe there daughter Elizabeth died around the same time as my ggggrandmother but she died in Scotland mine in NZalso following the scottish naming patterns her first daughter being Agnes i thought her mother would be Agnes i have found an James Johnstone & Agnes King so far i havent found a daughter Elizabeth thats why it will be good to see the 1841 censusthanks again Harriet Cheesy
