Athlone 1861 Cencus look up for POWELL

Hi,

Athlone,Ireland is the only clue to the Powell side of my family tree.

The 1861 Cencus should read:-

Bridget Powell abt 1835 .................Wife
Anne Powell abt 1860 ....................Dau
Francis Powell abt 1855 .................Stepson
John Powell abt 1839 .....................Head

I have a Rebecca Roseanna Powell within my family tree ( I will check my records but I think she came from Ireland). she married a Louis Estevan Green de Woolfson.

Hi Dave,

No help at all.Thanks for the thought.

Apart from BRIDGET the Powell family always used Catherine/Kate.....Harry/Henry.....Tom....Patrick....Annie/Anne and John.They have used the same names for at least 130 years.
