Bringing Boyce's together again

Request the birth and death details of Frederick Boyce born about 1840 /1841 in West Pennard area f Somerset.
Frederick Boyce is shown on the Ditcheat 1841 census with parents William and Jane Boyce he is 5 months old.
HO/107/943/8 folio 18 page 12
Church Lane , West Pennard
his grandparents Edward and Mary Boyce lived next door to them at time of 1841 census.
Frederick is not listed on the 1851 census with them .
Another son was named Frederick Boyce in June Qtr of 1848.
he is shown as 2 on the 1851 ccensus in Ditcheat
Cant find Fredericks death on FreeBMD between 1841 and 1851. .
any help please.

No Boyce/Boices buried 1841-1851 in West Pennard according to the National burial Index or Ditcheat for the same dates. The index seems to have coverage past 1840 for both these parishes
Censuses can of course get names wrong

cant understand where this child has disappeared to.
on 1841 census then not 1851.
unless they changed his name and sent him with family to be brought up with them.
Although their daughter Ann is listed on 1851 age 7 in Ditcheat , Street.

As I said you get mistakes on censuses. Particularly on early census like 1841. So he or even she, may not have been called Frederick in the first place. On the 1841 census I have found the occasional entry I cannot verify in any other record. You need to check the parish registers to be certain (presuming they were not non-conformist).

hopefully someone in the Somerset area of Ditcheat or West Pennard who will oblige my request of help and see if there is anyone born with that name around 1840/1841.
As he was only 5 months old at the census date in 1841 it may be around December 1840.
thank you for your time and patience whilst helping me in my Boyce research.

dont think it is.
most of my family were born in Somerset areas surrounding Ditcheat such as Evercrech, West Pennard , St Cuthberts Out, Peckingmill, Westcombe ,Stoney Stratton etc....
i have been given info and he was listed on the 1841 census at Church Lane , West Pennard
ref HO107 /943 / 8 FOLIO18 PAGE 12
unfortunately it doesnt state on the info where frederick boyce age 5 months was born.
And i do not have access to somerset disks etc..
any further help will be appreciated.
