I have just discovered that my website has big problems.
The common javascript and css files have been linked incorrectly from nearly all my webpages.
This means that those of you who have looked at my site (thank you) have not been treated to the full effect of my html coding. And you will all have gone away disappointed.
I am doing a major modification exercise this weekend and hopefully by Sunday night it should all be working correctly.
The lesson to be learnt from this is. Always empty your browser cache before testing your website. That way you will see the webpages as others see them, for the first time.
Now don't leave us in the lurch - where do you delete your browser cache??
Is it in "disk cleanup" on Windows XP?
Cheers
Keith

The little window that appears has the GENERAL tab selected with options to change your home page, do things with your Temporary Internet Files and do things with your History.
The Temporary Internet Files is the Cache and the Cookies.
Leave the Cookies alone. Some sites rely on their Cookies being there before they allow you access. So if you don't want to re-register on your favourite sites, (which includes online banking) then leave them alone.
The button marked "Delete Files" is the one to click.
An are you sure? window pops up. Click on the OK button.
The files will be deleted from your hard disk.
The browser is then forced to get webpage content from the internet, rather than from the cache.
