Hi,
Searching for the parents of John (Sean) Hargadon birth 1920 in Sligo, there is a possibility that he was born in CORNAGEEAH.
It is known that he came to England before the 2nd WW and married in 1941.

Hi
My gran was called Elizabeth Hargadon who lived in Dundee with my Grandad. She was born in 1900 and her father was Bernard Hargadon from Uphall in Lothian
All i know so far is that he came from ireland
Thats all i have looked up so far but i have dates and siblings etc on a cencus from 1901

I dont think its the same family, the one I'm tracing John(Sean) wasn't born until c.1908 in Sligo.

Thanks for your reply, the trouble we have is we cant be sure of his exact birth date he gave various ones when he came over to England before the War and when he joined the Army and When he married also he said his father was called John on his marriage. so you can see the dilemma.

Just been on to my step-sister whose father is the one we are tracing.
The only other info she has is as follows :-
Brothers : Patrick, Liam, Shamus ( was a Jesuit priest).
Sister : Barbara (died young) ?
Mother Mary ?
and a surname of FURY ? mentioned.
