Hi,
Just wondering if anyone could do an 1891/1901 census search for Albert Burton b. 1884 in Nottingham, father Robert Burton, and Florence Eliott b. 1890 in Nottingham, father William Eliott? I've just got their marriage certificate and I'm curious to know who their Mothers and other family members were.

Thanks for all your help, I can confirm that the first Florence is the right one, as her father's occupation on the marriage certificate is lace bleacher. Once again thanks for all your help, it's given me something to get my teeth into!

Hi,
Just looking at 1901 census for Albert above, which is the right one, and 10 years before his sister was born in Leeds...possibly why Albert can't be found on 1891 for Nottingham?

Hi Burto,
I'm having the same problem as Howard in 1891 - searching nationwide but not finding the Burton family at all.
I'm starting to suspect that Robert senior's birthplace or age was wrong in 1901 as the only Robert Burton c.1860 born Notts in previous censuses is a Robert Plowright Burton who in 1891 was married to a Florence and had a 5 year old son Herbert
