From the 1901 census for Hebburn Durham

John sewell b  1857 Carlisle Cumberland head

Catherine Sewell b 1862 Carlisle  wife

Mary Ann Sewell b 1885 Carlisle daughter
John Sewell b Greenbrae Scotland  son
Thomas H Sewell b 1890 Hebburn  son
William Sewell  b 1891    "        "   son
Francis Sewell  b 1893   "   "   son
George Sewell b 1895   "   "    son
Robert Sewell b 1897    "   "   son
David Sewell b 1900      "   "    son


I know some of the above were still in the North East in 1940s

but I can find no record of a marriage for any of them I would welcome any advice they have to be some wear

thanks for your reply already tried this site but as its guess work  and so many with the same names got no where I already have a pile of wrong certs waiting to be donated to the family history center
