I'm still trying to break down my Biddle/Biddles/Bythell brick wall  Roll Eyes

A John Biddle is listed as being the father of my Gx2 Grandmother (Labourer working in a sugar refinery) when she is born in Birkenhead in 1866.

Her mother is recorded as being Dinah Biddle nee McDermott on the birth certificate and as Maria Biddell on the 1871 Census (age 30 - born Dublin, Ireland)

Could someone check the 1851 Census for details of any Mary/Maria or Dinah McDermotts or John Biddell/Biddles/Biddle or even Bythells living in the Birkenhead area please (Sorry have no idea of John's age).

Peterbennett - I believe you checked the 1861 census but no joy. Just looking for any possibilities/leads in 1851 as I've no other ideas what I can do to track them down  Huh
