Hi again There is a good chance that the Eckington baptism I found is your John - Troway is in Eckington district, Methodists didn't have a chapel in every village and also the John and Mary in Troway in 1841 are old to be John's parents. I found the baptism on this site http://www.familysearch.org This site http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hughwallis/ is very useful as you can search by parish. The IGI does not have all parish records extracted, some parishes are better than others. Happy searching Jan
