Hi all, I have added about 60 years of South Weald marriages to my serchable database at http://kevw.net/SelectEvery.htm Also, the raffle for Kenya 2005 at the Havering Town show includes about a £1000 worth of prizes, including a laptop with Celeron 2.8 processor, 256 MB of RAM, 30GB hard drive and XP Professional - about £850 rrp. I will be posting details on how to purchase tickets through the post over the next couple of days, at both my sites. This is all in aid of sending twenty four youth to Kenya, and raising funds to help build street children centres, for those who have no family, often through AIDS. Anyway , enjoy the search engine, and start with the first three letters of a name, as spelling was atrocious in the olllden days - what's changed! Best Kevan

Hi all, Sorry if this is not relevant, but I think it is. Details about applying for raffle tickets are now on both of my sites. I have restricted it to UK addresses only due to cost of sending prizes etc. Also, purchasers must be over 18, which probably applies to you all! In case you are interested, our church (excellent modern vicar in his sixties) has agreed to allowing us to use the Parish Office as a Post Office box for postal purchases of raffle tickets, for some excellent prizes, which include an $850 rrp laptop, Census CD for 1841 & 1861, and a hamper for good measure. Also, explaining the history of this venture, includes the Safari (a Summer holiday club) that is run by the church, This year is the tenth year that this has happened. During this period, we have twelve young people who have enjoyed this, and moved on to being young leaders in their own right, and are now off to Kenya in 2005 on a proper Safari. We have nearly 300 children at this Safari holiday club, which is free apart from covering expenses. The fundraising that is occurring is to pay for the project costs for Kenya 2005(ONLY), and all personal air fares etc are covered by individual donations. The twenty four youth from the parish - scouts, guides and Christian youth, plus an ex-Missionary from the area (strangely a Wilding), plus eight leaders are embarking on a project that will change ther lives and hopefully those of many of the Kenyan streetchildren. So, please support the Havering Town show, which will be the biggest fund raising event we have ever done, or alternatively you can purchase raffle tickets through the post, which ever way, you have as big a chance of winning as everyone else. Links are http://kevw.net/Kenya2005.htm and http://essex1841.com/Kenya2005.htm Lets make this a family history show that helps others less fortunate. Thanks for listening. Hope you win a fantastic laptop. Best Kevan
