Names: Onions (sp?) Bromly/Bromley/Beynon
« on: Saturday 31 July 04 22:28 UTC (UK) »

My maternal great-grandmother was born in Shropshire in1853. Her first name was Amelia, possibly Amelia Matilda. She was probably Roman Catholic. She married a Kauffman Spier, perhaps in Liverpool, were she lived after she was married.
I'm trying to establish her maiden name. I think it may have been Onions (spelling?) or Bromley/Bromly. My grandmother used to talk about a cousin, Mary Beynon, who may or may not have been related to this great-grandmother. so maybe  she was a Beynon too. I simply don't know. So if any of these names connect to you, in the Shropshire area, & for the date given, I'd love to hear from you

Hi!

Kauffman C. Spier married Amelia M. Bromley.

Year of Marriage was 1877 and registered in Liverpool

They were married at St. Bride with St. Saviour Church, Liverpool.

If you are wanting to order a marriage certificate, you will find the print out form for the marriage, with reference number and where to send for it on the following site. (When you find marriage entry on the site, just click on reference number at side)

Good Luck
