Can you tell everyone where you expect them to be? Still in Ireland or over in England?

Looking at the 1871 census they would not be in England in 1861 as they had a daughter Kate born in 1865 in Ireland, a son Patrick in 1868 in Kendal, Westmorland, England. So they must have immigrated sometime between 1865-1868 so won't be on the 1861 England census.

My understanding, little though it is, is that there are no surviving census returns for Ireland that old.
They were destroyed at the behest of the Government, I think also the 1881 was destroyed too.
There are no censuses to look at, you have to try a different method.
I would like to see Athlone census for 1861 too as it happens
