Going through old posts and noticed this one had no replies. By now you may have found the information you were looking for (if so please modify the title of your first post on the thread bu adding the work 'completed') but there have been some new online Irish sources added in the last few months.

Index to Irish civil registrations now on LDS Pilot site (free):
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1408347
You can search for William Campbell and Charlotte Gordon separately then cross-reference the results to find a match (same date, registration district, page and volume number) and with those details order the marriage certificate which should give you their residences at time of marriage as well as name and occupation of William's father.
www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm

You can also search for birth certificates of the 3 children born in Ireland on Pilot site if you wish to order their birth certificates.
