1841 census look up please for a Rachel Forshaw born 1817 Raby Father Thomas 1784 blacksmith Raby, mother Jane 1791. If not Raby could be Poulton cum Spital (spittle) many thanks Alan

    Sorry but there does not seem to be an entry for her or family in either Raby or Poulton in the 1841.
    The 1841 Raby is very feint so could be there but I cant read it all.
     There is a 1851 entry in Raby for a Thomas Forshaw blacksmith who may be a relative.
     Where and when did Rachel marry?

Peter thanks for looking, Rachel Forshaw gave birth to a Daughter 15 August 1842 in Clatterbridge workhouse.
She was married in St Nicholas Liverpool 31 Dec 1845 to Richard Thomas they had a daughter 8 August 1847 in Oxton and a son on 24 August 1849 again in Clatterbridge workhouse.
In 1851 census she is living in Bebington and is widow with three children and was  a laundress.
I have not found a death for Richard Thomas in BMDs or Cheshire BMDs .
