"New" flag disappearing from topic titles

I have noticed recently that if there are two new topics together that when I open the top one and then hit the back button to return to the list, the topic below no longer has a "new" flag, even though I haven't read it.

It's annoying in that you quickly lose track of which topics you have read. Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes, I too have certainly noticed it - and it is most remiss of me not to have flagged it on the forum or directly to RC (sorry RC).

I am very pleased that you have done so - and no doubt it will quickly be remedied.

Hi Jon,

No, I'm absolutely certain of my identity!  And I have only one on RC (user name JudyP, posting name JAP)!  And any I have elsewhere are totally transparent e.g. Judy Philip or judyphilip2003 or JudyP or JAP or japhilip@ - rest of email address not stated per RC policy.

But when I responded on this thread there was certainly an earlier response from Falkyrn.  There is no question whatsoever about that!

And, yes, Falkyrn does exist on RC.  A search for him finds a RootsChat Aristocrat who last posted today at 11:46:33 

Where is Dr Who when you need him??
