I am new to the group so thought I would start off with what I have so far on the Fraser side of the family.
Alexander Fraser (born abt 1778 Headroom, Pitsligo-Married Jean Bruce on 17/7/1803 in Pitsligo. They had Two sons: -
(1)George, born 2/11/1804 in Peathill, Pitsligo-Married Mary Adams about 1827.
(2) Alexander, born 24/10/1806 in Mopside, Pitsligo-Married Margaret Gill on 11/2/1827 in Fraserburgh.
(1)George Fraser/Mary Adams had 7 children:-Alexander(1828-1905)-William(1830-1901)-John(1832-?)-Mary(1836-1928)-George(1838-1895)-Edward(1843-?) and James.
William Fraser, born 31/12/1830 in Peathill, Pitsligo-Married Jean Shearer on 30/7/1854 in Rosehearty, Pitsligo. They had 11 children:- William(1854-1926)-John(1856-?)-Andrew(1858-?)-George(1860-?)-Edward(1862-?)-Alexander(1865-?)-Adam(1867-?)-Mary(1870-?)-James(1872-?)-Thurlow91875-1892) and Charles.
William Fraser, born 5/7/1854 in Rosehearty-Married Jane Greig on 21/12/1877 in Rathen, they had 6 children:-Mary Jane(1878-1897)-William Greig(1880-1934)-Alexander George(1883-?)-Andrew(1885-1911)-Maggie McDonald(1889-?) and Annabella(1891-?)
William Greig Fraser, born 8/9/1880 at Moss-side, Inverallochy-Married Margaret Anne Mutch on 11/6/1902 in Westfield, Rathen. They had 7 children: - Elizabeth/Isabella/Alexander/Jean/Jack/William George(1903-?) and Andrew(1904-1970)
Andrew Fraser, born 16/11/1904 at Millhill, Crimond-Married Helen Kinninmont Cunning on 29/2/1928 in Aberdeen. They had 4 children:-Living- Fraser(1928)William Greig Fraser(1931-1933)Living Fraser(1933) and William Cunning Fraser. (ME!) (1936)
(2)Alexander Fraser, born 24/10/1806, married Margaret Gill on 11/2/1827 in Fraserburgh. They had five children -Samuel (1828-1914)-Margaret (1834)-Alexander (1839-1869)-Jean (1837) and Penelope (1841)
Samuel Fraser, born 1828, married Ann Fraser on 5/12/1850 in St Fergus. They had 11 children-Elizabeth Ann Roy (1851)-Angus(1853)-Samuel(1855-1933)-Margaret(1857)-Alice Jane(1860)-Isabella(1862-1899)-Alexander(1864)-William Watt(1865)-Sophia(1868-1889)-Helen(1870)- and Busfield(1872-1920)
I would be interested to hear from any one who has connections with any of the above, particularly in going back further to Alexander (1778) his marriage certificate just states where and when married, no particulars of parents.
