James married Isabella Bright in 1896 in Church stretton, can find no further information on them in the 1901 census . My grandmother  Edith was born later in Vernolds Common does anyone have these peoples names in their tree  Huh

1881 census Cardington Shropshire is given as her birthplace - she is with her family.

1901 census RG13 2507 folio 7

James Lewis 27 Shropshire, Head   Married Waggoner on farm
Isabel Lewis 26 Hope Bowdler, Shropshire, Wife Married
Mable A Lewis 4  Rushbury, Shropshire,  Daughter   
John L (or I) Lewis 2  Wistanstow, Shropshire, Son 

1891 census RG12 2089 folio 45
Minton Oaks Church Stretton  Shropshire 
Lewis, James 21 Church Stretton, Shropshire, Farm Servant 

James is not in or born Church Stretton on the 1881 census. Three possible candidates James Lewises of the right age born Shropshire. You would need to know the details of your James Lewis's father from his marriage to narrow it down.

but had died by the time of the marriage to Isabella
