« on: Monday 02 August 04 19:38 UTC (UK) »

Can anyone help trace William Newman possibly in America between 1851/1870. On his marriage certificate it states his place of residence as Middleton Co Middlesex [He was married at Kennington, Surrey 8th January 1870].     Mistyrose

Hi Misty
Do you have reason to believe he moved to America?

The 1870 US census is available for searching through Ancestry, but it was taken in the early part of the year.

The 1880 US census is free from www.familysearch.org.
