1841 / 1851 Ambleside / Langdale census for Barker

Hopefully someone will be able to help.
I am trying to trace John Barker born 1829 Langdale by Ambleside Westmorland. I found a birth on the IGI that lists mother as Margaret Barker.

I have found John's wife Isabella a widow visiting my Barker relatives in Otley in 1901 & I'm trying to trace back to see if these are relatives or just a name coincidence, I know a branch of my Barker family went to live  Kendal Lancashire area in 1800's.
I'm hoping the earlier census may help me piece them together.

nothing likely in Ambleside or Langdale but found this family in Hawkshead:

John Barker H M 54 Painter & Glazier LAN Hawkshead
Margaret Barker W M 50 WES Langdale
Jonathan Barker S U 24 Painter & Glazier LAN Hawkshead
John Barker S U 22 Tailor LAN Hawkshead
Henry Barker S U 20 Painter & Glazier LAN Hawkshead
Robert Barker S 17 Painter & Glazier LAN Hawkshead
Joseph Barker S 10 Scholar LAN Hawkshead
Mary Milligan Serv 13 House Servant LAN Manchester

The following link gives you info on the parish of Hawkshead - it is just 4/5 miles from Little Langdale - and given mother's birthplace does look possible.http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Hawkshead/ParishMap.shtml

If you don't have it already I would try and obtain John & Isabella's marriage certificate which will hopefully confirm occupation and father.  Or you could try the 1861 census via 1837online to see if you can find them married by then.

Thank you for looking pretty sure this isn't them.

I have found them in 1861 & John is a Iron miner. Also in 1871 got another clue as brother in law Joseph Brockbank is visiting, so now have found the marriage of John to Isabella Brockbank in 1854 in Bootle Cumberland. First son born in Bootle.They are in Urswick by 1861.

for Isabella's family have a look at http://rolyg.members.beeb.net/2438Fols95-229withages.htm - it is only the name index but seems to confirm Isabella with her family.

If you wanted the full transcript you can get online from http://www.cumbriafhs.com/.

When you get John & Isabella's marriage certificate may be worth posting back for an 1851 lookup for his family if you get his father's name.  Although if he was illegitimate Margret may have re-married and could have a new surname!

Yes I am trying to find if this John Barker is somehow connected to my Barker's in Otley & I am trying to find him in 1841 census but not had any luck as yet, any help gratefully received.
